Jean-Pierre Fourie is an editorial and commercial photographer, based in Cape Town, South Africa — but I'll take any opportunity to travel!

Jean-Pierre is a one on one type of person with an eye for detail who takes pride in his work, not afraid to give his best in all he does, even seemingly small jobs, treating each project as important. A perfectionist, upholding his unmistakable brand to it's always exceptional standards.

Hailing originally from JHB, he decided to make the move to Cape Town in 2007. It is in Cape Town that he gained experience assisting both local and internationally acclaimed photographers.

In the last 10 years, however, he has been shooting independently for established clients such as GQ, Glamour, ELLE, Speedo,Mens Health,  Cosmopolitan, Lowe and Partners, Highbury Safika etc.

My work focuses on capturing a moment in time, whether it's portraiture, lifestyle imagery, or just the perfect light.

Always experimenting with new techniques, I'm equally comfortable with analog and digital technologies, and use both according to the needs of the project.
